The Directors and Executive management of Lloyd's Broker Paul Napier Ltd are delighted to announce the immediate appointment of Edward Cross as Divisional Director. Edward will be responsible for the development, distribution and marketing of Paul Napier's worldwide Commercial, Professional and Financial Lines account with a particular focus on business emanating from the UK, UK offshore and Switzerland.
Edward commented that he was looking forward to joining the team at Paul Napier as it "presents a tremendous opportunity to consolidate, develop and grow an established and popular book of business, thus raising our profile and working with our stakeholders to take the business forward".
Mark Winston, CEO of Paul Napier Ltd is backing Edward to take Paul Napier's strategy forward. He added that "with Edward's credibility, based on his experience and technical knowledge of a range of asset classes and products, he is the right person to help us achieve our immediate and future objectives."
Edward Cross' insurance career started in 1987. His previous positions included Director of Aon Professional Risks, Senior Underwriter at Zurich Global Corporate, Senior Casualty Underwriter at Starr Underwriting Agents and, most recently, Development Director at GNL Insurance, Paul Napier Ltd's pioneering Takaful joint venture with Gatehouse Bank plc.
Paul Napier operates as an independent Lloyd's broker, based in the City of London, offering a range of commercial, professional and financial lines insurance products to a worldwide customer base.
